Make Money Online - Writing Articles

writing Content for a living: Going back to my post about the most annoying thing with paid posts I decided to find ways of making money that will not impact so destructively on RSS readers and readers in general. My findings were good but not the greatest…Paid posts are still a very lucrative way to generate income and I am finding it hard to seek out a replacement. It was also pointed out that I might begin a secondary website to support this one, but that takes time but I will still be working on it.

Associated Content (www.associatedcontent.com): I have heard a lot of good news about Associated Content, from what I heard you can write content on a wide range of subjects in a very wide range of formats, I heard that the pay is quite good as well and it is an effective way to make money online, one problem I noticed was the last time I tried to sign up is they accepted only US residents.

Daytipper (www.daytipper.com) : I checked the site out and DayTipper will give you $3 for every tip you give them and the tip is validated, Tips are really short, only 2 to 3 lines long, so I guess it is value for money. I am not 100% sure how many tips you can submit per day, but there must be some sort of limit or else people would go tip crazy and make millions!

Helium (www.helium.com) : This is a network also for you to publish content, you do earn for your articles and you can compete for more money at the marketplace. I will probably be joining Helium soon to test it out, anyone heard good or bad comments about it? The site looks pretty professional so I’ll join and tell you how I go.

Digital Journal (www.digitaljournal.com) : This site has the concept down to a fine art…but payouts seem pretty bad, the top citizen journalist for December 2007 only earned $200…some pocket change to most good bloggers.

Software Judge (www.softwarejudge.com) : I know that John from www.johntp.com has been using doing some reviews for this company, I am not sure about the pay outs build I believe they are pretty good since John recommends using it to make some extra cash. What do you do? Pretty simple, you review software and get paid for reviewing it.

Hubpages: This is very new to me, so I do not have much experience, you can try it out and tell me what you think about it, I will be trying it out, the incentive is that you can earn good income. You also write content and submit articles using hub pages…more about it when I get started.

Squidoo: Hmmmm…I still do not have a lens, I should probably get one soon and I will be doing so, I heard that revenue is shared at Squidoo, is this true? What are the earning like? I have never used it before so it would be interesting to find out.

Final Comments: Writing content may not be the best way to start making a living online but it is a start towards getting some income, if you get into the habit maybe it could become a full time thing, but the internet is literally filled with money making opportunities, they just need to be fished out, oh check out www.shareapic.com and www.mylot.com - I hear you can make some money with these as well.

Make Money Online - Cost Per Acquisition

Cost per Acquisition is the process whereby the publisher (the person who puts the products in their site) is paid a certain percentage for successfully selling a product after the user (viewer) clicked on a link (e.g. a book) and purchased it.

Cost Per Acquisition does not work too well on blogs because people are not so much ready to buy products…the came to read your blog not for a tour of the local amazon.com store.

The best places where CPA works is on ecommerce websites, especially for products which many people like, these could be anywhere from ipods to technology or high fashion bags, clothing etc…You can also get away with using lots of CPC visual displays from Chitika eMiniMalls or TTZ media (because a high percentage of users purchasing online are usually unaware…they think the ad is a CPA)

I highly recommend that you set up a small ecommerce niche shop specialiazing in one kind of product (ipods, technology, computers do very well despite a high density market). If you set up a small ecommerce niche shop you can do exceptionally well if you market it well enough.

There are some very good cost per acquisition networks available out there, some of the best are. Amazon Associates has been around for a very long time, their system is very simple. You find a product or products, you get the ad code and you place it on your site. You will be commissioned about 8% if a user successfully purchases this item, which is why it is called a CPA network because the user must acquire the product.

Shareasale is similar to the other programs, your typical advertiser provides Shareasale with their product link and shareasale is used as a third party to serve the ads of the advertiser. Once you have successfully been accepted into the shareasale program you can start getting money by promoting products with affiliate links on your site in order to get a commission (usually 5% to 8%)

Make Money Online - Cost Per Mile

Many businesses that have very large amounts of visitors per month on their website use a simple but effective way of monetizing their website, this system is the cost per mile system. The CPM system works by placing a banner of some description or size on your website and in turn you generate revenue for every thousand impressions (page views) that your site gets. Many people get a lot of page views per month and it only makes sense to use a CPM system to make money online.

CPM systems have been in existence for quite a long time now, there are countless services out there, but you need to know which ones are the best. I did some research and found at that the three or four systems below are the best.

Tribal Fusion (www.tribalfusion.com): Tribal Fusion comes highly recommended, I checked out a lot of reviews relating to tribal fusion and it is one of the most top notch systems available out there. Tribal Fusion does require websites or blogs who apply to have approximately 2,000 visitors per day. I highly recommend waiting till the sixth or seventh month of blogging until you apply for Tribal Fusion. (Joel Comm, JohnTP and Darin Carter all use this highly popular ad serving network)

ValueClick Media (www.valueclickmedia.com): This is a second tier advertising network along with Burst Media, this means that they will have lower quality advertising; nevertheless it is still useful to trying using it if you do not get into Tribal Fusion. They do pay people because I have read of earnings of $900 per month+. Minimum of 2,000 visitors per month.

Casale Media (www.casalemedia.com): Casale Media, first tier advertising, this service has been verified and it does pay its users. Casale is a very notable company which is recognized for high CPM payouts.

BurstMedia (www.burstmedia.com): BurstMedia, although a second tier ad network, has been in the industry for almost 11 years and it is still going strong. Burst Media is a highly popular ad serving network which can be found on numerous, successful money making sites.

HydraMedia: (www.hydramedia.com) HydraMedia is also a service which is beginning to get recognition as a viable source of income. Many blogs and websites use hydra media and they have been paid.

Make Money Online - Pay Per Lead

Making Money Online can also be done via the use of affiliate programs. There are a huge number of affiliate programs out there…some are more legitimate than others of course. How do you find the right one? The answer is, I have picked out the affiliate programs which I believe are the best in the business and have a good record of payment. Affiliate programs are one of the easiest ways in which you can monetize your blog effectively. All you need is successful marketing skills to properly advertise the product.

Ebay (www.ebay.com) You can become an affiliate with ebay and they will pay you about $25 if you promote ebay on your website and manage to attain a successful signed up referral that begins to use ebay to sell products.

Bidvertiser (www.bidvertiser.com) Although Bidvertiser is an ad serving platform it also offers a high payout affiliate program; you can get paid up to $25 for your successful referrals (that means they sign up and start making money).

Joel Comm (www.joelcomm.com) Joel Comm has an extensive range of books and e-books available for sale. You can become an affiliate with Joel and promote his products, for every sale you make; you will be commissioned for that sale (about 5% to 10% or more)

Yaro Starak (www.entrepreneurs-journey.com) Yaro Starak is a blogger from Brisbane. Australia. He has been highly successful in promoting his product called ‘Blog Mastermind.’ What you did not know is that you can become an affiliate for his program and sell it. For each sale you make you will be commissioned $25 to $35.

These affiliate programs utilize the pay per lead style method, which involves getting users to sign up to a program (usually a free program).

Make Money Online - Pay Per Click

Pay Per Click systems are one of the easiest ways to monetize your blogs because it only requires one action from the user…a click on a link. The average payment per click for a beginner blog is anywhere from $0.10 to $0.50, these rates go up as your blog increases in traffic and companies begin to pay more for advertising on your blog or website.

There is a wealth of pay per click systems available to the general public. These systems all have their ups and downs and some are better than others. The best pay per click system to date has been the one and the only Google AdSense. Google AdSense is putting a lot of cash into people’s bank accounts each day, some people earn up to $70,000 per month using this simple pay per click system. Below are the pay per click systems which are considered to be the best.

Bidvertiser: Bidvertiser is another simple to use and implement pay per click system, it is not as popular as AdSense but it still has the ability to bring in some revenue for your website or blog. This company can make you money as I have seen it used on other blogs which are making money from it.

AdBrite: AdBrite is a fantastic pay per click system, it is probably one of the most customizable systems out there and this is great for advertisers because the new generation of people nowadays are ad blind and hate seeing anything which relates to spam. Unlike Google’s AdSense you do not have a big sign which denotes AdBrite as being an ad serving company.

Widgetbucks: Widgetbucks has been a consistent money maker for many bloggers out there, it is considered to be a high PPC (Pay Per Click) shopping widget because it claims to have payouts of as much as $2+ per click, now that is absolutely fantastic for any blog! This is a proven money making system and I highly recommend it for any ecommerce or shopping blogs out there. (It works well on shopping blogs or websites because it is directly related to the blog’s content.

John Chow’s TTZ Media: John Chow became a dot com mogul when his blog starting cashing out big bucks in 2007, he soon after launched The Tech Zone Media company which is a special affiliate program, you can display various products on your blog similar to Widgetbucks and you will be paid about $0.15 per click for beginner bloggers.

The above are only a few of what I believe are the best and most easy to implement ad systems on your blog, there are others such as Yahoo Ad Serving etc…but these are usually considered as being harder to get into than others.
