writing Content for a living: Going back to my post about the most annoying thing with paid posts I decided to find ways of making money that will not impact so destructively on RSS readers and readers in general. My findings were good but not the greatest…Paid posts are still a very lucrative way to generate income and I am finding it hard to seek out a replacement. It was also pointed out that I might begin a secondary website to support this one, but that takes time but I will still be working on it.
Associated Content (www.associatedcontent.com): I have heard a lot of good news about Associated Content, from what I heard you can write content on a wide range of subjects in a very wide range of formats, I heard that the pay is quite good as well and it is an effective way to make money online, one problem I noticed was the last time I tried to sign up is they accepted only US residents.
Daytipper (www.daytipper.com) : I checked the site out and DayTipper will give you $3 for every tip you give them and the tip is validated, Tips are really short, only 2 to 3 lines long, so I guess it is value for money. I am not 100% sure how many tips you can submit per day, but there must be some sort of limit or else people would go tip crazy and make millions!
Helium (www.helium.com) : This is a network also for you to publish content, you do earn for your articles and you can compete for more money at the marketplace. I will probably be joining Helium soon to test it out, anyone heard good or bad comments about it? The site looks pretty professional so I’ll join and tell you how I go.
Digital Journal (www.digitaljournal.com) : This site has the concept down to a fine art…but payouts seem pretty bad, the top citizen journalist for December 2007 only earned $200…some pocket change to most good bloggers.
Software Judge (www.softwarejudge.com) : I know that John from www.johntp.com has been using doing some reviews for this company, I am not sure about the pay outs build I believe they are pretty good since John recommends using it to make some extra cash. What do you do? Pretty simple, you review software and get paid for reviewing it.
Hubpages: This is very new to me, so I do not have much experience, you can try it out and tell me what you think about it, I will be trying it out, the incentive is that you can earn good income. You also write content and submit articles using hub pages…more about it when I get started.
Squidoo: Hmmmm…I still do not have a lens, I should probably get one soon and I will be doing so, I heard that revenue is shared at Squidoo, is this true? What are the earning like? I have never used it before so it would be interesting to find out.
Final Comments: Writing content may not be the best way to start making a living online but it is a start towards getting some income, if you get into the habit maybe it could become a full time thing, but the internet is literally filled with money making opportunities, they just need to be fished out, oh check out www.shareapic.com and www.mylot.com - I hear you can make some money with these as well.
